LeVar's proposal to Jackie was quite literally everything girls everywhere dream about. L + J's relationship had recently become long distance due to L's job, but he was ready for her to move in with him and make her his wife. And he wanted it to be perfect....which it absolutely was.
Guised as a typical weekend get away, L whisked J to Tarrytown House Estate in Westchester County, NY. The couple had visited this beautiful hotel during the pandemic to get out of NYC and they had loved their time here, so he knew this would be both a picturesque and meaningful spot for a proposal.
The big moment: the proposal
L had bought J a brand new dress that suited her perfectly and he was even wearing a tie that matched her dress! While J knew they would be going to a fancy dinner, she did not know that he was going to pop the question beforehand. I was hiding far away from them and crept up right after the proposal itself!
Romantic engagement photos
After the couple had a a moment to take in the fact that they were actually engaged (!!!), we roamed the grounds of the Tarrytown House Estate a bit to take photos at some of their gorgeous indoor and outdoor spots. It helped that it was an uncharacteristically warm day for March, too!
